The value is what you put into the program. There are great weekly deals to be had. There are also a host of ways to easily sell travel and earn commission. Attend one of the offered classes/webinars., If you can't find one call the customer service line. I've found them to be extremely helpful and easy to reach. One example, I sold a cruise to myself and earned a commission through the cruise line travel agent site. Just be proactive and put even a little bit of work into it. It will be worth your while. AND why not since you paid for the service.

Pulaski is a scam that is some what legal. They do not deliver what they say. Been done with them for years and was wondering if they are still operating from the concord ca location.

Paid for serivces that were never received

Back in March 2016 my wife and I attended a presentation by Pulaski in Tampa for the Condo Travel Club. We were promised as part of attending the event a 3 day stay at a condo or hotel of our choice as part of the promotion.

We signed up and paid $5,000 for the change to stay at deep discounted condo's in the US and when we tried to use the free 3-day promotion were were not able to reach anyone or after a long wait we were told they would call us back. Nothing happened. We were also told that we only had to pay $100 each year as a renewal fee which jumped to $200 the next year. When we later tried to book a condo in the Bahamas we were told they couldn't help us and book a stay with another company like VRBO.

This was a rip off and this company can not deliver on any promises to it's customers.

I still receive emails with offers for discounted condo stays and request for a $200 annual renewal fee. No offer of a refund of our money has been made and they are hard to reach.

Lots of Smoke and Mirrors

Living in the post-information era and internet-social revolution, it amazes me that a company with so many smoke and mirrors can survive.

Claim: We were promised a free cruise with black out dates only on major holidays (e.g. Christmas, 4th of July, etc.) & if we wanted to upgrade, it would only be around $100PP

Actual: When we got to the presentation the rep informed us that 'we are having a lot of issues with our marketing people who sign you up and misinforming our customers. There are actually several black out dates and you can only book for about a 4 month window. Also, upgrading will be much higher than $100PP because you will have to pay full retail'.

I have also read online reviews that state it has been impossible for several people to even book...we shall see

My reply: 'Really? considering they represent YOUR brand, you would think Pulaski would ensure that reps are accurate and provide good customer service. Pulaski provides a SERVICE and if they don't value potential customers, how can I be confident they would value me as a paying customer?'

Claim: Pulaski's Presentation claims to be in the biz for 30 + years

Actual: On the BBB, they opened in 1991, that's only 27 years! Side note: they are A+ rating but have 7 complaints through the BBB and only 2 positive reviews (from what I could see).

Claim: We are A+ with BBB

Actual: This is true but let's face it...in the post-social internet revolution, who uses the BBB? Most use the internet to post reviews and if you search reviews, they are HORRIBLE!! I asked the sales agent why does Pulaski have such bad reviews? He claimed 'our leader doesn't address those but focuses on the BBB rating' That's laughable...get with the times!

At the end of the sales pitch I did tell the rep I felt sorry for him to have to sell such a

Tried to get out of the membership but can’t. Mad at myself for signing up. Since I have to pay for it, thought I would use it. I asked them for prices for Orlando in November. They gave me 3 hotel prices. The Hotels were 3 star Hotels with regular rooms. It is Funny (not really) because during the presentation that I sat through they said you would be staying in suites at fabulous Resorts/Hotels. I am not getting what was presented to me. Don’t sign up for this. Stay strong as they try and beat you up to purchase. You don’t get what they say.

Went to the presentation and was taking notes and the presenter rudely stated that I need to put my stuff away or he would lose his train of thought and have to start over causing the group to be there longer. Not even a free cruise is worth being spoken to in such a way!

Rude Behavior At Pulaski Travel in Tampa Florida

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We saw a booth at the Plant City Strawberry Festival in Florida claiming that we could get a free 5 day cruise on Carnival. Interested, we asked the representative what it was about.

You know the old saying, if its too good to be true, it probably is, was in the back of my mind. In any event, they promised a cruise that is not exactly FREE, as you have to pay port charges and taxes which are roughly 150.00 per person. Additionally, you have to pay a $20.00 deposit to sit through a presentation promoting the "benefits" of joining the Pulaski Travel Club. We paid the $20.00 deposit knowing we would get it back.

We reserved Monday March 13, 2017 to see the presentation at the Ramada Inn Westshore in Tampa. The people were very nice at first, and the presentation was so-so. Making a long story short, we had no interest in purchasing an $7500.00 + investment, no interest in paying a $199.00 yearly fee, and no interest in paying a $99.00 one time fee. We cruise all the time and the prices they were showing were no less than we pay now.

We sat through the presentation and when it was over, this woman named Dava who identified herself as the manger sat down to work on us. She was rude, pushy and not at all friendly. She got mad at us when we asked her questions about her statements that she could not support. I asked her how would I know if her cruise prices were actually cheaper than what I am currently getting and she told me that I had to SIGN UP to find out.

I told her to forget it and give us the free cruise certificate. She said to think it over and she would come back with the certificate. She NEVER came back. We had to track her down and then she was reluctant to give it to us.

When she finally decided to give it to us, we grabbed it an left. We may have even considered joining your group, but with the tactics of Dava, that will never happen.

Funny my husband and I had the same experience with Dava. She was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional.

We were considering the package until she and the presenter became combative when we sourced cruises for the same price she was selling direct from the line.

When a customer expresses doubts about your product telling them "there's the door" isn't exactly a winning tatic. After reading the reviews Im glad we didn't waste any time trying to collect our "free cruise"

Guest

By the way my name is MR. Emilio Maldonado and I just wrote the previous review about how MRS Dava was so professional to us. Great presentation by the way.

Guest

My wife and I took the same presentation and it went really smooth. Afterwards Mrs.

Dava sat with us and ask if we were interested and I explained to her our situation for not joining the club and again Mrs.

Dava was very professional and did not push the issue at all and then she proceeded to issue our free cruise for 5 days. Yes I know that we are responsible for taxes and Port charges, but it was a good experience for us.

Promotional briefing

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I attending a promotional briefing on 24 Oct 2016 at Holiday Inn Suites on Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC. After the presentation the representative Kam was my rep. In the processing of explaining and trying to get me to purchase the program I told her that financially at the present time I couldn't afford it. I live by myself, and pay all the finances and expenses for my household. I just brought a vehicle and want to pay that off. She got offended when I told her that I didn't want the program. That my boyfriend or cohabit person would have been upset if I made that decision on my own. This rattled me. I told her I make ALL the decisions for myself and I don't have a boyfriend or a cohabit. Very unprofessional to me. I left the presentation very, very disturbed. Pearline M. Carter 1438 Old Bluff Road Hopkins, SC 29061 803.369.4492 Email: onlyifu1054@***.com

Dear Pearline,

It has come to my attention by the Project Director of the Columbia, SC show (presentation events) that there was a complaint about my rude behavior. No matter what was going on behind the scenes which escalated my level of frustration, it does not justify bad behavior.

Attending a presentation with Condominium Travel Club should always be an enjoyable experience whether a guest becomes a member or not. Please know that this is out of character for me and I sincerely apologize.

In my years of experience with travel clubs, I have found that Condominium Travel Club offers the best product as well as exceptional service from their corporate office in Pulaski, NY.

If you have another opportunity to become a member in the future, I hope you do. It is truly a life changing program for those who wish to enhance their lives.

Sincerely,

Kam

Guest

Our experience was with the same sales rep Kam who called us liars and that she's on her way back to Florida instead of wasting her time. We both have never seen a professional act the way she had or rudely say what she said.

So unprofessional. We couldn't believe it.

We left also disturbed and couldn't believe they would allow sales rep like that to represent their company and behavior was OK. Wow!!

BEWARE!!!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My husband and I went to one of their presentations and left out of there feeling like we got emotionally beat down. They are extremely high pressured salesmen.

They use tactics to make you feel *** if you don't purchase their "product" that will cost $8000.00. Their attitudes are callous. They tell you if you don't like the product no problem you'll get the gifts you were offered and you can go. Not quite that simple though.

Each couple has a representative who will try every approach without breaking your arm to get you to break your bank account. When that doesn't work the another interrogating intimidator worse than the first is called in. What an ordeal that was to sit through this just to get a free cruise which by the way isn't totally free. There are restrictions.

When you refuse their offer they try to pick it apart and accuse you of having an invalid reason. The frustration level is that of having a face to face verbal fight with someone who's only inches away from your nose.

The deals they claim and the freebies aren't worth the stress it takes to receive it. Won't ever do this again!!!!!

Very Happy

We went to the presentation, did not get the time share, but bought the travel agent package. Since then I completed the Princess Commodore training - got a free two week cruise through the Panama Canal from Princess. We book a cruise vacation every year and have gotten awesome prices. Very happy. As with anything, if you want to complain you will find a reason. However, if you actually do some work, take advantage of the ITA number and training courses you cannot beat the travel prices. We have visited 14 countries and been on 5 cruises the last 4 years. Love it!

Pulaski travel company is a scam!!!

We went to Christmas in the park in San Jose, Ca. My wife entered some free raffel.

Months later, she gets a call from some guy named Romero wanting us to drive to Pleasinton and pick up the tickets. My wife specifically asked, "What's the catch?" She was told there is no catch. You are one of 2 winners and we would like to offer you vacation packages. You only have to pay the taxes.

I researched the company and found that they indeed sell time shares. They use deceptive, dirty tactics to get you in the door and based on the complaints all over the internet, they don't deliver what they promise!!! I even called the guy back and asked if they were selling timeshares.

He said, "Yes but you're not obligated to buy and you get a free vacation." That isn't what he told my wife! Total scam!!

I am so glad we didn't waste our time, money and gas going to their "PRESENTATION".

My husband and I have been members since 2005. We have been travel agents with this company as well.

This company is legitimate and worth the money if you become an ACC (Accredited Cruise Counselor) thru CLIA. There are stiff requirements from CLIA that you must obtain first in order to get the best discounts as travel agents to recieve your ACC. If you have your eyes wide open and fulfill the CLIA requirements to become a travel agent then this is definitely worth it. We have saved alot of money over the years.

Also, have booked clients as well.

It takes alot of time to search for discounts on the internet and Pulaski includes free classes to train you on how to use the discounts. Hope this helps you in your decision!

We have been in the travel business since 1988

giving our customers unique travel opportunities at negotiated rates not available to the public. We deliver and service tens of thousands of members and in home agents.

We have a Best Rate Guarantee to back up our services. We do not sell timeshare we make the weeks available to our members at wholesale rates.

Unfortunately, there are still tons of similar travel scams out there…There is an iPhone app recently released, called Scam Detector, which exposes over 500 of the most notorious scams. It is worth checking it out, if you have an iPhone.

The app is also online, if interested: www.scam-detector.com. Kinda cool, actually.

Pulaski Travel is a full service Host Travel Agency. We do not and have never sold Timeshare. We have assisted many of our members in liquidating timeshare weeks that they no longer wanted to own.

Romeo works for a third party vendor that books tours for us. He also books tours for other vendors that do sell timeshare.

The gifts we offer for attending our presentation are travel related. We want to speak to people interested in travel.

Pulaski pays for the trip, you pay the taxes. No obligation to buy to get your gift. No Scam at this BBB Accredited, A-Rated Company.

They lied to me

My husband and I went to a presentation after "winning a trip" from filling out a survey at a fair. The nice man who told me about the presentation and trip said airfare would be included if I was going to Vegas or San Diego. We wanted San Diego, so that sounded good to me, since times are tough and we don't have much money available for travel right now. He also told me we'd get a $50 gift card for coming so far. (The city for the presentation is an hour drive away.) After arranging an appointment that would work with our crazy schedules, he sent me to another phone number to confirm the appointment. The nice lady I talked to there promised me an additional gift for confirming. So far, so good. We got to the appointment and were shown all the awards on the wall, the classrooms, etc and plied with coffee and cookies. The presentation was entertaining and sounded real good, but the price was way beyond anything we could pay or qualify to borrow. Our household has had a major period without income recently and extraneous travel isn't in our budget this year. After three different "closers" and a reduction in the price by about 65% we were finally taken to the "manager" to receive our "gifts." He made one more last ditch effort (and price reduction) to get us to sign up. His face told us he was not happy that we weren't going to join. Then the "gifts" are presented. There was a card with cash value, but he let us know it couldn't be used just anywhere like a credit card, which is what I thought had been promised. Then the trip certificate which was from an outside company. I had assumed a travel agency would give people some of their own wares, so we would see how good their trips are... He acted like that was it, so I reminded him of the promised restaurant voucher. He wanted to know if I had something in writing after all the arrangements had been made by telephone. He did get it for us, grudgingly, then had me sign a paper that said I had gotten all the gifts promised. When we looked at things over dinner, I noticed the gift card was only $25, not the promised $50. The restaurant card couldn't be used on the spot, but needed to have some online research done before I could use it. The trip flyer looks suspiciously like one I got at a timeshare presentation in 2009 that I spent hours picking dates (Did I mention we have crazy schedules?) and mailing back and forth, but never got to go on the trip. (I don't remember why, now.) Reading the fine print I discover it is not good for anything but a hotel, despite the "Trip of a Lifetime" verbiage on the brochure. At least I live in California or there would also be a $50 deposit required (refunded 30 days after travel.) I am also instructed to choose 2 dates and 2 destinations, which sounds like I may not get the promised trip to San Diego which is the only reason we went.

Big Rip-off-Can get better prices myself

Dont fall for the ***-job. A professional travel agent has the best deals-these are orders takers and just want your money. You can get better deals yourseld-look around. These guys are at all the home shows, boat shows etc and taking money from nieve people-Dont be one. Older people, people who have never traveled are their prey. You do not have to belong to a club to get a great value. Professional travel agents have the ways and means , have the knowledge and want to make sure you are happy and come back to you. Harassing Telemarketing calls!

I have never done business with Pulaski Travel but they got my mobile phone number from orchid exhibition I attended in San Francisco a few months back. I cannot get rid of their endless calls / hang ups.

They call me every day, sometimes twice. I have begged to be removed from their telemarketing list. I was in Europe for 6 weeks, got their calls at 1 - 4 AM every morning, had to turn off my phone so they didn't wake the entire family.

They are like the plague. I am about to report them to the BBB, Chamber of Commerce, FCC.
